Beem was honored to be part of this year’s Sahara Sparks event. The event, organized by Sahara Ventures brought together innovators, start-ups, entrepreneurs, investors, technologists, policy makers, development partners and corporates in both public and private sector.
The aim of the week-long event themed, Africa 4.0, Africa in The Fourth Industrial Revolution – #Africa4IR, was to create a platform for different stakeholders to meet and reflect on the role of technology, innovation and entrepreneurship in fostering social-economic development in Africa in the era of 4th Industrial Revolution. Speakers had panel discussions were they held conversations around what the recent technological advancement in Africa particularly in Tanzania means for its citizens and how the continent is preparing to embrace the transformation.
